St Williams Meditation Group

The group is open to all members of the parish and their friends who are interested in Christian meditation.

St. William's Christian Meditation Group is a member of the World Community for Christian Meditation directed by Father Laurence Freeman OSB.

The Community exists to communicate and nurture meditation as taught by Father John Main for the unity of all. There are over 1000 group world wide in over 100 countries. In Australia there are over 300 groups. The Australian Christian Meditation Community publishes a quarterly News Letter with a circulation to over 3000 Groups & meditators.
 
 
 
 
Locally the St. Williams group meets on Tuesday at 7pm in the church. The meeting starts with a short prayer, silent meditation and a recorded or read inspirational talk by priest and discussion. The aim is to encourage people to meditate for between 20 -30 minutes each morning and evening.
